Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 July 2026. Track Country Days is offline-first — the countries and days you track stay in a database on your device, not on our servers. This policy explains the limited data the app and our providers handle.
About this policy
This policy explains how Workyloop OÜ (“Track Country Days”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data across the Track Country Days service — the marketing site at trackcountrydays.com and the iOS and Android apps.
Who we are
Workyloop OÜ, Tartu mnt 67/1-13b, 10115 Tallinn, Estonia. Estonian registry code 16837036. We operate Track Country Days and are the data controller for the limited personal data described below.

Our approach
Offline-first by design
Track Country Days has no accounts, no sign-in, and no sync. Everything you record — the countries and days you track, custom areas, day tags, notes, and attachments — is stored in a database on your device. We never receive or store your travel history on our servers.
“Offline-first” means the app does not depend on our servers — not that nothing ever touches the network. Some features do use the network: map tiles, turning coordinates into a place name, in-app purchases, push notifications, and support chat. Each is described below.
What stays on your device
Held only in the app's local database, and never sent to us:
Travel days & places — the countries and regions you track and the days you assign to them.
Custom areas & day tags — areas you draw and tags you create (e.g. workdays, a city, visiting family).
Notes & attachments — any notes or files you attach to a day.
Location coordinates — if you enable location tracking, a representative coordinate for a tracked day is stored locally (see “Location data”).
Photo-derived days — days reconstructed from your photos' capture dates (see “Photos”).
You control this data directly in the app: export it to a file you keep, delete a date range, or delete everything. Uninstalling the app removes it.
Sent to Apple / Google
Location data
If you enable location access, the app records the country or region you are in to mark your days automatically. Coordinates are stored on your device.
To turn a coordinate into a country or state, the app uses your operating system's reverse geocoder — which means Apple (on iOS) or Google (on Android) receives those coordinates to return a place name. We therefore do not claim your location “never leaves your device”: the OS geocoder sends it to Apple or Google. We do not receive it.
You can turn location off at any time in your system settings.
On-device only
Photos
If you use Scan From Photos, the app reads the capture date and any location embedded in the photos you choose — on your device — to reconstruct which days you spent where.
Your photos are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The scanning happens locally, and the place lookup for photos is done offline.
Analytics & crash reporting
To understand which features are used and to fix bugs, the app sends product-analytics events (PostHog, EU-hosted) and crash/error reports (Sentry, EU-hosted).
These describe app usage and technical diagnostics only — they never include your countries, dates, locations, notes, or any travel data. They are tied to random identifiers generated on your device, not to your name or email.
This data is not used for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Purchases & subscriptions
Track Country Days Pro is sold as an in-app purchase. Apple (iOS) and Google (Android) process the payment — we never see or store your card details.
RevenueCat, Inc. manages your subscription entitlement, keyed to a random identifier. It receives purchase and subscription status (product, transaction, renewal), not your travel data.
Notifications & support
If you opt in to notifications, OneSignal delivers them. Your push registration is anonymous — not linked to your name or email.
If you open Help & Support, Crisp powers the chat. It carries a random identifier and an app label so we can help you; it does not receive your travel data. Anything you type in the chat is your choice — please do not share sensitive details unless you want to.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
Purchases — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legal obligation for tax and accounting.
Analytics & crash diagnostics — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) in improving and stabilising the app.
Location and photo access — your consent, given through the operating-system permission prompt, which you can withdraw in settings.
Support chat — legitimate interest in responding to your request.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share the limited data above only with the providers that make the service work:
Apple Inc. (iOS purchases; reverse geocoding) — United States.
Google LLC (Android purchases via Google Play Billing; reverse geocoding; map tiles) — United States.
RevenueCat, Inc. (subscription entitlement) — United States, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
OneSignal (push notifications) — United States, under EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Crisp IM SAS (support chat) — European Union (France).
PostHog (product analytics) — European Union (EU hosting).
Sentry (crash and error diagnostics) — European Union (EU hosting).
How long we keep it
Your travel data stays on your device until you delete it (a date range, or everything, in the app) or uninstall — we hold no server copy to keep or delete.
Our providers retain the limited data they process under their own policies; purchase records are kept by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat for tax and accounting purposes.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data.
Because almost all of your data lives on your device, you already control it directly — delete a date range or everything in the app, or uninstall. For the limited data held by our providers, contact hello@trackcountrydays.com.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).
International transfers
Some providers (Apple, Google, RevenueCat, OneSignal) are based in the United States. Those transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children
Track Country Days is not directed at children under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version.
