About This Rule
Counts your days in Greece over any 12-month period: staying more than 183 days in total makes you tax resident from your first day there. Stays only for tourism, medical treatment or similar private purposes of up to 365 days don't count. Your permanent or main home, your habitual residence or your centre of vital interests in Greece can each make you resident on their own, whatever your day count.
