About This Rule
Counts the days of your current stay in Israel against 90. Visitors from visa-exempt countries travelling on an ETA-IL can stay as tourists for up to 90 days, and a visitor visa usually gives a stay of 3 months. The period you are actually given is set at the border on the day you enter. This tracks the day count only and doesn't decide your entry or visa status.

Ready-made rules count your days against the limits the law names. They don't decide your visa or residency status, and many laws add conditions a day count can't see.
