Visa

Mexico: 180 days per stay (visitors)

Up to 180 days in Mexico per stay

About This Rule

Visitors without permission to work may stay in Mexico for an uninterrupted period of no more than 180 days, counted from the date of entry. The immigration officer sets the days you actually get, which can be fewer, and your entry form (FMM) shows the date you must leave by, so check it. Some nationalities need a visa in advance; this tracks the day count only.

Ready-made rules count your days against the limits the law names. They don't decide your visa or residency status, and many laws add conditions a day count can't see.
