Counts your days in Portugal over any 12-month period: staying more than 183 days, in one stretch or several, makes you resident. Under the law a day counts only if it includes a night spent in Portugal, so the app counts nights. A home you appear to keep as your habitual residence can make you resident with fewer days. This tracks the day count only.
